O Lagar Do Douro Superior

We have been to O lagar a few times now and have always enjoyed our meal there. We decided to go for my birthday my partner Juan and myself and enjoyed our meal immensely. We just had the olives and bread to start with and the toasted bread with olive oil and then we had the costillas con arroz for our main We thought we were sharing one dish between the two of us but they brought us one each. We had a small salad with it and their home made chips. The costillas con arroz were absolutely delicious and the meat melted off the bone but you only need one between you as I couldn't finesh all of mine. We visited o lagar on saturday and can say we thoughrally enjoyed the meal and the wine. the service was freindly and the reasturant itself tastefully done. The ribs and rice swere delicious as was the olive bread to start with. it was a shame not to see this lovely resturant busier and we will be back in the future to try one of the cod specialities. i do reccommed a visit to o lagar although it be slightly pricier than the nighbouring restuarnts in barca de alva.

para os comentários o restaurante deve ter apenas uma boa apresentação para os pratos da lista, porque éramos 4 pessoas almoço, sugerido e optou pelo prato do dia, com uma apresentação muito fraca. as sobremesas doces todas feitas de batata, a exceção do leite de creme. Estou a encharcar numa pequena chapa com todo o molho a sair da chapa. Mau acompanhamento do cliente. Nota positiva ao terraço no exterior muito agradável e tranquilo. não repetir

Great meal! all meals are for two people. Well done and the service is very nice. We have order: two entries, two bottle of water, one coffee, one dessert and the main dish all was under 50 euros. The quality was great we order cacho de carne , grill steak very well cooked. The water his from their own, you will not find it in the market. One restaurante to be mark as we must return . a shade of traditional gastronomy with fantastic vegetarian vegan options. an amazing sound, with great food and service. the place was very nicely furnished, for a very cozy and beautiful experience.

Plats très copieux et faits maison, produits frais. La terrasse sous la vigne et le figuier est très agréable. Nous avons très bien mangé, c'était un moment très agréable.

Uma joia escondida, no meio do nada, a comida é perfeita. Vinho com uvas do proprietário, azeite caseiro e comida paradisíaca. Vale mais de 1h de viagem só para vir aqui
