Enticed by the cheaper prices than other restaurants nearby, the restaurant had an agreeable atmosphere and a very friendly host. However the food was really quite poor - we had several fish dishes but nothing tasted particularly fresh, and our sorbet to finished felt like...More

Staff are friendly and flexible. Food is really traditional local food!!! Nothing frozen, everything fresh and yet served quickly. Price is really reasonable and very sffordable. Worth goingvthere..

The set menus start at €13.50, we had the €18.50 and was worth it for the extra choice. We enjoyed everything we had. Service was very cheerful & helpful. Would certainly eat here again.

The Basement is built with in the drang, a small shopping area just off thje Quay, and has fantstic views over the harbour.
