Let’s face it, the whole village is designed to attract wine buyers and for tourists who enjoying walking through old narrow streets between historic buildings. And both target groups are not disappointed. This restaurant right in the middle looks good and has all the attributes of a tourist trap, but it’s not entirely. Right away, the food was special, excellent, for higher-than-normal, but not excessive prices. The inside looks really neat, and is pleasurable. The only part that this restaurant was lacking was the attitude of the staff. We live nearby and have been here many times before. Decided to go for a light lunch and because what were ordered wasnt to the liking of the manager, he repeatedly shook his head at us as we ate, then again as we left, we spent over €70 yet that did not satisfy him. Never have we felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant and to then pay so much money for a very limited amount of food was galling. We will never return and i suggest that unless you are willing to spend in excess of €300 for a standard quality meal then you do not visit this place either. To say we were infuriated by our experience is an understatement. Rude and overpriced.
A short stop for a drink and something to eat. We opted to go for a local wine (easy choice) with some helpful guidance from the waiter. After a little confusion (my fault) we had 2 glasses of wine and then a whole bottle! We then decided to try the oysters. They went very well with the local wine we'd chosen. (Red Grain Bleu 2022). It's a really pleasant place to stop at and one of the first you see when walking into Saint Emilion. Take care with times though as we went back (to use the loo) only to find it closed at 2pm like a lot of St Emilion appears to do.
Excellent reception and service! Refined and inventive cuisine, we have feasted with the ravioli of langoustines, the bar and the pluma, very beautiful choice of wines also.... Thanks to the chef, beautiful team and establishment we highly recommend

What a pleasant surprise! First compliment is for the Armand server who knows its products on the fingertips, and the second top for the cooks who treat you from the entrance to the dessert! I totally recommend
Very nice, smiling and welcoming, the meal is delicious, very copious, there is something to eat in the plate and it is of quality!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Lunch on Sunday noon. everything was the setting, the quality of the dishes, desserts and wines. warm atmosphere and service to the top. thanks to them.
