The steamed egg is good, and the pork skin has a sweet flavor that I liked. The other meats are okay, except for the pork belly, which had an unpleasant taste 腥味 —I’m not sure how to describe it. O2 is one of the few korean bbq in Hudson County. My stepdaughter brought me here as she frequents this location. She is not korean however I am. She is young and haven't developed her taste level. O2 is fine for the price however understand it is not a true representation of korean bbq. The galbi wasn't short rib but a beef round. It's a lesser quality and marbling of beef. The bulgogi was not a ribeye but a beef round. Flavoring was definitely off. Also we ordered a few rounds of brisket and the more we got the lower quality with high fat presence. Loved this place! The food was absolutely delicious, came out fast and with great service. We went on a Sunday at 4pm and it was pretty empty, I would suggest getting a reservation just in case. We got the all you can eat menu and it was so worth it! Would definitely recommend and go back soon! If you come with a car there is parking in the mall, they will validate your parking in the restaurant when you pay.
This is the place to go! I loved everything about it! I rarely get this excited about a restaurant, but this place is worth it. My only complaint is parking. They have a huge parking lot in the building which belongs to the Galaxy, but it is usually full. Do not park in the reserved spots! Leave your car at home and try the cocktails . Overall it's pretty good, my favorite is the Kalbi Marinated Steak, it's very tender. Salad's lettuce is also refreshing. The dumplings are fried, not pan-fried. There are few options for side dishes, I hope more options can be provided.
Yoon and Sky are fantastic servers. They are extremely accommodating and the best at their jobs. Anyone who comes to this restaurant would be lucky to have them take care of you!
The establishment serves alcohol to minors. When I called to address the issue, they insisted it was acceptable because the minors were accompanied by adults.
If you eat only white meat, the options are very less otherwise it's a good restaurant with great variety of side dishes.
