No Gloves!!! wiping there sweat with there hands while making burgers making all food no gloves. I thought it was just male cook I seen a couple of weeks ago making burgers and other food wiping his hands on his dirty jeans with no Gloves, looks like he hasn’t washed those jeans in 6months, yes 6 Months!!. I am in here now and it’s a female making food handling food with no gloves running her hands threw her hair. It’s ridiculously gross. This has to stop OWNERSHip!!! Please talk to your cooks, if this continues I will video and put it on YouTube. Also I will report it!!
My fiancé, friend, and I visited this restaurant during Monday Night Football when the lions were playing. Despite the place being packed, there was only one waitress serving all the tables. She was extremely busy and we felt sorry for her as she rushed around trying to keep up. Despite her hard work, she was friendly and attentive. However, it would have been better if they had at least two waitstaff during busy nights. The only problem I had was seeing how overworked the waitress was.
I haven't visited Oak Cafe in a long time. They used to have excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. I decided to order their Cajun burger, which was always good and came with fries. However, this time there were no fries and the burger didn't meet my expectations. The prices seem too high for the quality of the food. It just didn't live up to my memories. I wish it was better.
My wife and I stopped by for lunch at this really cool neighborhood bar. The staff was friendly and the food was great! Our favorite was the pretzel sticks, but all our dishes were delicious. The cost per person was between $10-20. Overall we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5.
