We had a beautiful dinner to celebrate our anniversary here. Service was fabulous and ambiance was perfect. My husband’s food was (according to him) spectacular. I am not a steak or seafood lover, so I ordered the bolognese expecting the same mouth watering flavor. It was only ok. My husband even tried it and agreed. They said they use San Marzano tomatoes, but this had zero tomato flavor whatsoever. I ate it anyways, but thought I’d give my take on it since I read zero reviews on the bolognese. My name is James, and I am a former dishwasher at Oak Steakhouse. I was let go for refusing to work in unsafe conditions, with temperatures reaching 110 degrees. The dishwasher area lacks proper air circulation, and during a meeting on June 29th, we were assured that the air conditioning would be fixed before the 4th of July holiday. I would appreciate it if you could check with management to see if the air conditioning has been repaired, as it is important for the safety and health of the dishwashers: Tony, Kevin, and Robert. We hosted a private group dinner for 30 this past weekend. It was the absolute best. Everyone in our group raved about the food and the service. Robert was on his game. He and his staff provided amazing service and attention. Every dish was amazing,the steak was cooked perfectly, the potato's and asparagus had so much flavor and the chocolate mouse bomb was delicious. Thankyou so much Oak Steakhouse for a memorable evening. I would also recommend working with Sarai who helped us set everything up,she was a delight to work with and very responsive.

This place is incredible. The atmosphere inside is as good as the food. Came on a Friday night and it was busy. I was able to get a seat at the bar and watch my Carolina hurricanes play hockey and have some appetizers. The staff was so nice and friendly.I will definitely eat here everytime I come back to Nashville to visit my son. I would recommend this place to everyone. It isin a great location and they have free valet.
The service at Oak Steakhouse was outstanding, and the food was exquisite. I highly recommend the Japanese wagyu and Brussels sprouts. Everyone at our table enjoyed their cocktails thoroughly. Although we were a bit disappointed that the antique collection bourbons weren’t available, we hope to try them on our next visit!
Fantastic option in downtown Nashville. Order the house version of the old fashioned; you won’t regret it. I order the swordfish which was topped with capers and served upon a smashed/roasted fingerling potato; it was absolutely outstanding. TheBrussels sprouts are also a solid choice.
Have eaten here 2 times (once in May 2019 and then Sept 2022) and each time I’ve said “best meal I’ve ever had”. WE LOVE OAK STEAKHOUSE!!! Our server this time, Andy, was exceptional. He went over the top to celebrate my 30th birthday. Thanks Andy!

Everything was fantastic! The staff worked together seamlessly to ensure the food was served hot. While the drink service could have been a bit faster, that's pretty common in fine dining. The beef fat fries are truly irresistible!
The food was good but our waiter was terrible. He took our order, then we never seen him again. I would go back for the food not the service.
