My husbands food came out cold, I don't mean luke warm I mean cold as if it had come out of a fridge not only this but the condition of the plate is came out on was bad (pics attached). We asked for a new one as it was cold, and around 20 mins later a new one came out completely burnt, it was one extreme to the other. Had booked a specific table for the quiz but when we arrived there were people sat at the table we had booked. Only 2 bar staff on took 15+ minutes to order 2 drinks. Ordered starters at 7.25pm they arrived at 8.05pm. The onion rings were not hot and the sharer portion of nachos £9.50) arrived in the smallest tin dish Definitely not enough for 2 people which is how it was stated on the menu). We complained and a fresh portion of onion rings were cooked and an additional 'portion ' of nachos were provided. As service was slow we decided we needed to order soon for mains. I stopped using this pub some time ago as the ale is virtually undrinkable. However, l found myself in there recently, so l thought it was sure to have improved. How wrong l was! The Pedigree was truly awful, flat, and with a sharp, unpleasant tang to it. Having been an ale drinker for over 50 years, l know what l'm talking about. The beer just isn't looked after properly. The young, inexperienced staff seemed to think it was cause for mild amusement! The management need to get their act together and get someone in charge of the cellar who knows what they're doing. It's a shame because the pub is in a great location but is rapidly losing custom. It used to be packed out virtually every night...
This new bar is fantastic. The staff and atmosphere are amazing. The music is at a perfect volume and the décor is pleasing to the eye. The customer service is exceptional. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. The bar staff are efficient and courteous. It's clear that the customers are highly valued here. I will definitely be coming back, as this location has quickly become one of my favorites.

Used to use the Oak Tree a lot but the last two times of average food and poor service I've given it a miss for a good year. However I decided to give it another go and it was as good as it used to be, the food was tasty and the service came with a smile. I hope you can keep it up
This was our second visit to this restaurant as a family. The food was fantastic! We were taken care of by a server named Connor, who was truly outstanding and a great asset to the company. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening, providing excellent service.
I first started going to this restaurant in January to participate in the quiz on Thursday nights. Since then, I have eaten here four times. The food is delicious and the staff are fantastic- very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and I always enjoy coming here.
Lovely little pub just on the corner. The manager is lovely and very welcoming and her staff are just the same. Great food with a brilliant private room for hire. Must visit.

terrible the manager was rude so expensive for tiny portions no wonder it was quiet on a friday evening do not go if you want to actually feel like you’ve ate
Half decent food when it arrived. Very slow service, tables quite dirty. Decent drink selection. Toilets not to assessable. plenty of great car park spaces.
