During our visit to the small town of Downpatrick, we stumbled upon a delightful deli and cafe. They offered a variety of lunch options, including items for my vegan friend. I decided to try the stuffed potato and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Whether you're looking for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea, this place is a great choice if you're in the area. In addition to their food options, they also have baked goods, jams, jellies, coffee, and more.
We decided to dine at this restaurant primarily because it seemed to be the only one in Downpatrick that opened at 08:00. However, we arrived to find out that it doesn't open until 9, but we were running late and didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes. The staff were friendly, the service was good, and we received a freshly cooked breakfast in a short amount of time.
We visited this cafe several years ago while we were in Ireland on holiday, now that we live here we decided to call in again while we were passing through on a day trip. The menu offers plenty of choice without being overwhelming. Great value for money, comfortable setting and the staff all very welcoming. will certainly visit again.
The café is charming and clearly a popular choice. The soup was delicious and highly recommended. The tea may be too weak for some. Unfortunately, there were no scones available during our visit, even though they are their specialty. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and efficient.

The Oakley Fayre has been around as long as I can remember. I have many fond childhood memories of this place. It has always been really good whether it’s bakery, breakfast, lunch and now on occasion even dinner nights with byob, it is always first class food and service. Highly recommend
This little gem achieved a 'Taste of Ulster ' food award last year and it 's easy to see why. Friendly staff, good food at a reasonable price. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Well worth a visit.
Family get together for lunch . Everything we ordered was delicious, piping hot and nicely presented . Reasonably priced . Very clean . Staff were really great , thank you .

Best soup and sandwich combo: vegetable broth and Brie with peppers and pesto. Lovely warming and tasty. Treat yourself.
