I just had another absolutely delightful meal at my favorite Mediterranean café. There's nothing like family-owned, hidden gem restaurants. The atmosphere is always serene; the owner usually has football on at a very low volume while preparing orders, and the hostess is truly stunning. The sense of calm and tranquility I feel there rivals that of libraries and Orthodox sanctuaries. We ordered a Greek salad with a fantastic dressing, perfectly tangy pita, gyros, and pistachio baklava. The food smells wonderful and tastes so fresh and vibrant. I can't wait to return!
I was looking forward to enjoying a proper Greek salad. However, when I ordered delivery, I was disappointed to find that it was a very small portion mostly consisting of lettuce with a poor dressing. The salad seemed worth no more than 50 cents, with barely any vegetables besides the lettuce and almost no feta cheese. It was quite disappointing.
I visited this restaurant today and had an amazing experience. The food was incredibly tasty. We're in Sarasota for three days from North Carolina, and I was truly impressed by the great food that made me feel right at home. The dishes are homemade, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again!
This is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've ever visited. It truly exceeded our expectations. The homemade food was incredibly delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding.
