Oba Mediterranean Gyro Grill

This is probably one of the worst restaurants on the Austin strip. I’ve tried Oba several times and each time it has been disappointing. They get my order wrong each time and put no effort into fixing it. The food I receive is almost always stale and tastes as if it’s been sitting out for awhile. I just watched the person pack my order and he was literally throwing things aggressively into the paper bag as if he was serving dogs. The meat was cold and stale. I hate this place. After several chances I will not be returning.

I've been here a couple of times and the food is always delicious. The portions are excellent, be prepared to share and/or take some home. The food arrives quickly and wait staff are very responsive. The only improvement I would recommend is cleaning the bathroom more often!Food: 4/5

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Moreover, the service was impressively prompt. If only I could remember to order the canefa ahead of time next time, it would be perfect.Food: 4/5

Very good. Mediterranean style food. Don't be in a hurry because everything is made fresh. This meal did in fact feed all four of us very well. Served hot and delicious. All in, about $20 per person.

I am originally from Turkey. So I know the original taste of Turkish food. If you are looking for authentic Turkish food, this is the address. I highly recommend their lahmacun.Food: 5/5
