Oban Fish And Chip Shop

My first time in Oban and I couldn't pass up the chance to try the world-renowned fish and chips! The place was bustling, so I decided to get it to go. The customer service was lightning-fast and efficient. The fish served here is guaranteed to be the freshest catch in town. They even make their own mouthwatering tartare sauce. The fish was incredibly juicy and the batter was perfectly crispy. The sprinkling of vinegar and salt added an irresistible extra crunch and burst of flavor. I absolutely adored the whole experience!

We weren’t going to this restaurant initially but are so glad we did. Rick Stein rated if the 3rd best fish and chip shop on the UK. Whilst I don’t know who Rick is from our point of view it was the best seafood that we have had so far. Staff were friendly and the food delicious .

Realy nice fish and chips. Crispy and not soggy at all. Portion size is ok, the regular size is big enough. Haddock or hake both great. Recommended.

Delicious fish chips. Large portion but not cheap. After all, one of the cheapest in Oban. Paid £37 for two portions with a Coke. Nice service.

Always a pleasure! Food cooked when order placed, so guaranteed to be piping hot and fresh. Staff pleasant despite how busy it always is!

Nice place for fish chips, they fillet and learn cod (Cod) at the moment. You can also choose other fish

Excellent fish with lovely chips. Tartar sauce and peas were quite nice. Kind staff indulged my mum.
