Interesting Idea ?. Might be worth a second try? It was my first time trying oberweis. The Black Cherry Ice Cream was great. It had an amazing black cherry and cream. The Dulce de leche ice cream was nothing special. I have had it before at other places and remembered it. Here it was almost just normal. I guess the biggest gripe was service. I understand places being short Staffed but they had 5 People working behind the counter. It was one Cashier plus 4 people making the ice cream. I was surprised it took so long. I understand a second cashier was needed but not sure what else. Maybe I am just wrong .
I recently organized a catering event for TelNet Worldwide and I have to commend Jacob Hamby, the shop manager at the Troy location. Jacob was absolutely fantastic! He was not only responsive but also went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Thanks to Jacob, the company event was a resounding success. We need more dedicated individuals like him! I’ve never been in Oberweis, even though it’s a few miles from my house. My granddaughter has gone and had their ice cream and bought chocolate milk from them. I thought I would go one day. I tried samples of the different flavors they have and bought the chocolate chip. It’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had! I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The ice cream is exceptional, especially the Peanut Butter Sundae which I absolutely loved. For my visit, I dined in, and I would categorize my meal type as casual. I found the prices to be quite reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5!

My wife and I stopped by to try their two seasonal sundaes: the apple crisp and the pumpkin cake. Both were fantastic! The apple sundae was delicious, especially with the vanilla ice cream—it was incredible. The pumpkin sundae was equally impressive, topped with pecans, caramel, whipped cream, and cinnamon. This place is definitely a must-visit!
Awesome establishment, great atmosphere and delicious ice cream. They also sell glass gallons of milk which was also very delicious. I also have to mention the customer service was just as delightful. I can’t wait to go back.
Open late till 11. Best place to get milk. Icecreams and shakes are awesome here. They have seasonal flavors
