Oby's Of Starkville

This charming restaurant has a nostalgic vibe, adorned with several old signs, and offers a diverse menu. I ordered a crawfish po' boy with fries, which was generously filled with fried crawfish, and the fries had a delicious seasoning. My husband enjoyed a veggie wrap accompanied by potato salad, which he couldn't stop raving about. Our granddaughter chose chicken tenders with fries. The tenders were large and coated in a panko-style breading. For dessert, we shared a pecan pie topped with praline sauce and a scoop of ice cream. The service was exceptional, even when we went to the counter for refills.

First time eating here. The food was delicious, hot and fresh! First time trying Alligator bites and they were really good! Only gave it 4 stars because of service. They weren’t rude at all but they weren’t friendly either. I work in restaurant management and I’m really big on friendly service. I’ll definitely go back because of the great tasting food!

I ordered the catfish strips and hush puppies, which were quite tasty. However, the coleslaw was disappointing. Additionally, I found it surprising that we had to pay for service before receiving our meals. The waitress only visited our table once to deliver the food and never returned, making it feel like a waste of money.

When I say Hail State I say Hail Yeah this meal was by far one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. My family and I are definitely looking forward to becoming Starkvegans. Y’all stop in at Oby’s and try those Alligator Bites, they will definitely bite back they’re so good. Reserva una mesa ahora

I placed a to-go order in the store and waited patiently. Unfortunately, my order was forgotten under the counter for about 10 minutes while the staff behind the counter chatted amongst themselves. The food is decent, but the customer service leaves much to be desired.

Bit like being in a sardine can if you're dining in, but it's a college town. I get club salad every time and it doesn't disappoint. Good price for the food quality. We stop here every time we're in town.

Ordered to go and everything was correct and cooked just like I remember! Well worth my birthday celebration dinner! Took it to go or I would have given more stars on atmosphere!
