Ocean Taqueria offers something unique that other taquerias in the Excelsior district don't: taco salads. I tried their steak taco salad for $11, and while it was decent, I’ve certainly had better. The salad featured a crunchy taco shell filled with a bed of iceberg lettuce, grilled onions and peppers, flank steak, sour cream topped with avocado, and a spicy pico de gallo that had a nice kick to it. Overall, I enjoyed the taco salad, although some places add rice and beans, which this one does not. Chips are available for $0.75. When I visited at 7 PM, I was the only customer in the dining room, and my food arrived quickly. Kudos to the staff at Ocean Taqueria for the prompt service!
I have been to a whole bunch of burrito joints all over San Francisco in the mission steet area and some out of San Francisco like Daly City, San Bruno, Millbrae, San Jose and the farthest place I had myself a burrito was in New York.... The Ocean Taqueria was that one place that I wanted to try Finally last week I went there for the 1st time and bought myself to go Super Burrito in a Sun Dried Tomato Tortillia Wrap that had Shrimp Steak.... This is the 1st time for me that I ate a Sun Dried Tomato Super Burrito with Shrimp Steak which tasted really good!!! If you like eating a Super Burrito with Shrimp Steak try going to The Ocean Taqueria in the Mission Area Of San Francisco Ca!!!

It came with a crunchy taco shell, a base of iceberg lettuce, grilled onions and peppers, flank steak, sour cream topped with avocado, spicy pico (salsa) and sour cream. That spicy pico had some kick. I did enjoy this taco salad. Some places include rice and beans in their taco salads but this establishment does not. Chips are $0.75. At 7pm, I was the only customer eating in the dining room. My food came out fast. Good job staff at Ocean Taqueria.
For those unfamiliar, Ocean Taqueria has been a beloved part of the city, now just in a new location. They previously operated in Ingleside and also had a spot on Divisadero (now known as The City Taqueria, which I believe is a sister location since the meat recipe remains unchanged after the name change). With El Farolito and the Ranchero Burrito at Taqueria Guadalajara just a block away, the Excelsior neighborhood boasts one of the highest concentrations of burritos in San Francisco (possibly even the world).

We were looking for fish tacos and found this place on Yelp. Had the fish taco, chorizo, Al pastor, and quesabirria tacos. We also ordered a gordita to go. All were yummy but my favorites were the chorizo and al pastor. I think it's run by a husband/wife duo who were really sweet. I'm not sure if they have table service officially but they brought our food and drinks and cutlery to the table which was super nice of them.
Pretty good food with great flavor! I actually really enjoyed the food. I don't often see this restaurant but I'm really glad we ordered it!
