I was on business in the area. We had visited many restaurants in the surrounding area and were looking for something close. We were warmly greeted and given excellent service. As an outsider, it looked to me to be a local's (if not family) hangout....The food was good, although I will agree with another reviewer who said the sirloin was more like pork.. eating was already disappointed because I went to another restaurant near and they did not accept credit cards without a price. to the happiness in ochsen they accept credit card. was very kindly welcomed and I ordered on the basis of the discussion with waitress “taste oxenwade” . the meal...was delicious, but they must be aware that it was very slim broiled bark. I expected more juicy meat due to the description. but it was good and they serve beautiful beer. so clear recommendation!
Went for dinner, was already disappointed because I went to another restaurant nearby and they didn’t accept credit cards without surcharge. Luckily in Ochsen they accept credit card. Was greeted very friendly and I ordered based on discussion with waitress “geschmorte Ochsenwade” . The meal...was delicious but you need to be aware that it was very lean broiled beef. I expected based on description more juicy meat. However it was good and they serve nice beer. So clear recommendation

Quite a few pizza places in town, but this little restaurant serves locally sourced food and wines. Dishes are traditional, but with options for vegetarians. Tasty cakes. Friendly staff. Worth a visit
