The restaurant Odysseus is located right on Alexanderplatz. The guest rooms in the 1st floor are reached via an elevator. In summer there are also some outdoor places available. The ambience of these places can be disputed. We've known the place for years and usually use the interiors. A lunch card is available during the week. The restaurant on Alexanderplatz is located in the 1st OG of the Querbau. It is easily accessible by lift. More than 100 seats are available inside. The atmosphere with Greek flair is pleasant. In good weather it is also served at 32 outdoor places, the menu includes about 60 main dishes, i.e. basically everything we call typical Greek. There are some vegetarian offers. Price is rather in the middle range. For example, the cheapest mixed plate costs €13.70. Under the week there are also 14 daily meals with soup for under 9, €. The location of the restaurant is appealing, seating in the 1. OG over a spiral staircase and in front of the building on the square. Very pleasant view of the fountain of the square. The tables were too tight, so that you had to stumble on the chair of the back guest when you were seated. Greek food can be so delicious, unfortunately this is not always the case here. Fatty roasted meat, sometimes a bit tough, mixes with stubborn pommes. Then again a piece of lamb or a soup that is really delicious.... well, I would like to know in advance whether it tastes. I'd rather go somewhere else.
Super Gyros! I'm just surprised to read that many people don't like the food here!!? I've been coming to Zweibrücken for years, for professional reasons, and I've been eating here by infestation! The meat is super spiced and simply delicious! I come here every time I am in two bridges!
