Upon a recent referral, we recently dinned here for the first time.The overall experience was good. Food and service was an authentic Greek experience.We are partial to Greek restaurants and this one does Cairns proud.The octopus was genuine and very well prepared and chargrilled. A lot of other Greek restaurants to pickled baby ones which are very common and not the same.We both had the lamb chargrilled main which was excellent and well portioned.My only disappointment was the Greek salad on the menu. Additives that didn't make sense....however the Greek salad side that came with our mains was good.The location is also a bonus not being on the way too busy esplanade. We will be back.Ya Sou!...
Went to this place just to try something different. My oh my... Did we found our new favourite place in Cairns. Sharing platter for 2 with included drinks is the great deal. Did get some more appetizers and dessert. Reasonably priced (perhaps not for every day dining but certainly great to mark some special day or spoil yourself day). Went back for my birthday and again could not fault it!!!!!! Attentive and very friendly staff. Guess it goes with famous Greek hospitality. In the current trend in Cairns of places opening and closing all the time, I truly hope Odyssey Kitchen is here to stay.
We took the kids for their first Greek meal and we had a blast, both on the food discovery front (Cheese from Crete served with honey!) and with an impromptu Greek dance on the pavement with fellow guests, kicked off by the staff - we'd normally find this cheesy / touristy, but this was unprepped and authentic. Our waitress was affable, attentive and helped us pick a great Greek Agiorgitiko dessert wine. Totally recommend this place.
The staff here are friendly and pleasant. Nice outside seating area. Food was tasty and seemed Greek enough. HOWEVER, it is very overpriced for the amount of food you get. The portions are quite small for the large asking price. They either need to up the portion size (even just more fries and carbs) or lower the sky high prices.

In a city overserviced with restaurants this one is a real standout Great authentic service from the Greek owners and beautiful tasteful food We are sis kebabs and a grilled chicken dish with soft pita bread Beautiful charcoal cooked food Highly commendable and I'd definitely come back again
Amazing service. Authentic Greek flavours with some dishes cooked over charcoal (my mouth is watering just thinking about it). Dishes initially appeared small but we didn't leave hungry. Price was OK for the overall experience.I'd definitely eat here again when I next return to Cairns
Ate there for dinner and was really impressed with the food. Had a range of food dishes and all were very good. The family run business was extremely friendly and a lot of fun. Would recommend for a casual dinner which won't disappoint.
All traditional charcoal Greek dishes (octopus, pork, lamb..), are represented. The service and ambiance are great. A good place to try while in Cairns if you like traditional Greek food.

Best Greek food in cairns,having tried all the other her Greek restaurants found this place and loved it. Excellent service and nice outdoor eating area,really enjoyed the lamb kebabs.
You can smell the Greek flavours long before you reach this restaurant. The food is authentic, and the owners are authentic. Melt in the mouth food. Great service. I will return!
