When you walk into this place it is literally like stepping back in time about four decades. This is a truly old school Greek restaurant which is part diner and part museum, but it is very clean and the service is extremely attentive and friendly....The food takes a good while to get to your table but if you're not in a big hurry you can entertain yourself by checking out the type of kitsch that was obligatory in these types of restaurants about half a century ago. This long standing Greek style restaurant recently reduced space to about a third of the former floor plan; with much less window viewing. Our group of seven was set up right next to the entrance which was discomforting as patrons came and went. The saving...factor is that food quality remains good, true to Greek heritage and fairly priced. The Greek style (dry) ribs were on special (from $22 to $17) and very good. My husband and I went out for dinner and thought about trying Odyssia since we haven't tried it in many years. A big disappointment. My husband ordered the lamb souvlaki and got Mousaka instead. We knew something was up when she was on her way...to our table then turned around, came back a few minutes later telling us her error and that she would get him the lamb, but my husband didn't want to wait another 20 minutes and ate what she brought. I ordered chicken souvlaki and like another comment i read there was a long disgusting hair found in my food. I was put off immediately. The owner was extremely rude, no apology or to make it right. Threatened to call the police if I didn't...pay. No offer to make something else just to bad so sad. I was in absolute shock. I'm very easy going but a hair eeeew. And my party did not like the food at all. We ended up at another place shortly after. The restaurant seemed musty and dirty. If i could do 0 stars i would. Don't waste your night out coming here! My ten year old son (who has autism and other disabilities) carries a water bottle with him for comfort/medical need. I explained my son’s special needs to the man at the door. A waitress would not allow us to keep the outside drink. My son...and I had to leave. Absolutely inexcusable – my son couldn’t understand why he didn’t get to eat at the restaurant as this was supposed to be a treat for him.
we probably wouldn't have just swung in, but that was recommended by our hotel. we all ordered Greek food and loved it! it is small, so we had to wait about 15 minutes, but it was worth it! I write this a few months...later and can't remember what I had, but was got the hotel hit it.
