Nevertheless, the food here is genuinely delicious. Although the macaroni and yams were drier than I typically prefer, they were still flavorful. This is the best cuisine of its kind that I've found in Yonkers. I noticed other reviews mentioning concerns about portion sizes in relation to the prices. We had an amazing experience at Off the Hook Yonkers! We celebrated my mother's birthday with a group of over 20, including all the kids from our family. The service was excellent; the staff were very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and the soul food and seafood were well-seasoned. We also enjoyed a selection of specialty cocktails from the bar. Our compliments to the chef and the entire team! We look forward to visiting again soon.
When I checked their website, the prices for dinner seemed quite reasonable. I ordered two salmon dinners, which were listed at $14.00 each. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the total cost was completely different. My bill came to $64.00 for just one fish dinner, which I found outrageous, especially since the dinner didn't come with any sides and everything had to be ordered separately. The salmon was dry, and the whiting was not in season. I won't be returning.
Everything was fantastic! The only downside was that the catfish served was in strips rather than whole filets, and the fried chicken was slightly overcooked and could benefit from a bit more seasoning (the seasoning in the photo is what I added). However, the sides were delicious—I absolutely loved the catfish batter. I just wish the portions were larger. Otherwise, it was all so yummy!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We were searching for a place to make our regular spot, and after my foodie fiancé tried the catfish, it was officially approved as our go-to. The service is exceptional; they really took great care of us. The food is delicious and perfectly seasoned. We will definitely be returning!
I attended a memorial gathering for a very dear friend at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding!
This was great! I just wish I had more chicken, lol. Overall, the yams were delicious without being too sweet, and the mac and cheese was perfectly cheesy.
Food was good. Signature Fresh Squeezed Limeade was really fresh. Received hush puppies instead of cornbread, and they were good.

Delicious! The greens mac and cheese also the candied yams. Just like my mom's from the south.
