My family has been coming here for the past 10 to 15 years and we have literally never had a bad experience, the food here is beyond top quality! This was the first time I have been back in a while and still the best sushi I can find anywhere in the US. The food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere this was the best experience we have ever had at a restaurant! Pedro was so unbelievably amazing, best service we have ever had so thank you so so much for everything we will be back every time we come to Tahoe! Also extremely affordable. This is an absolute must stop!!
We discovered a charming restaurant that has now become our new favorite sushi spot! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the menu offered a great variety of sushi dishes. The atmosphere was quiet, allowing us to enjoy the fresh flavors and fantastic tastes of our food. We arrived later in the evening but were fortunate to snag a front-row seat at the sushi bar, where we got to watch the chefs at work and even a Bob Ross painting tutorial! Thank you for a delightful evening!
My husband and I went here for a date night last night. All of our expectations were exceeded. The food came out super fast, everything was delicious, and the service was superb. I can’t wait to go back! We had the granola, the high roller, the royal flush, miso, and a few sashimis. The granola was our favorite but they were all really good. The paradise iced tea was also really good.
The prices are quite reasonable and the sushi is good. They accommodated an allergen I had nicely, but would not do a substitution to replace the removed ingredient.. Dietary restrictions: They provided gluten-free soy sauce and help making my sushi allergen-free

I visited during Happy Hour and I have to say, the shrimp dish was absolutely fantastic. Our lovely waitress mentioned that it's one of the main reasons people come to Off the Hook. The California roll was just average, and the gyoza was similar.
Best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything was very fresh. The Plum Wine is a must try. Pedro was the best server I’ve ever had. Eating here is a must for anyone visiting the Tahoe area. Definitely coming again next time we are in town.
Kid-friendliness: Great kid-friendliness so you don't feel bad if your kid makes some loud outbursts during dinner, not a place for them to run around though Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the street parking lot
Friendly service, and spectacular sushi. Had “the last samurai roll” from their daily specials and it was probably one of the better rolls I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

Food quality is amazing. We ordered a few rolls and nigiris and everything was fantastic. Excellent service as well.
