Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse Sushi Hibachi

I rarely give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. On that note I found nothing wrong or lacking with this place. We are traveling through on Christmas day and everywhere was booked or 2 hr wait. Called Ohjah and they could seat us when we showed up in 10 minutes...red flags but we are desperate for a place to eat and the menu looks decent so here we go. Walked in and immediately greated with a smile and promptly seated, why?? Well we ordered our drinks and food and once again all is brought out promptly from a very friendly waitress. This is a place that we only reserve for special occasions. Made a reservation so we could have a nice table with good service. Felt very rushed from the moment we sat down. We were four adults, two children. The hibachi chef was very quiet, not engaging at all and although he was tipped very generously, it did not enhance our service or the experience. Food was decent, a tad cold, but prepared well. This restaurant is overpriced and disappointing.

we went on a Monday and there were many sittings. two of us had the teriyaki steak. it was tasty, though I find terraki to be overwhelming at the end of the meal. not the debt of the restaurant, only my taste. our colleagues got a speed plate that was really easy to ride and he enjoyed. portions were plentiful and the service was timely and noticeable.

There was only one chef, Davin, working at the restaurant during my visit. I was seated at a table with another family and we had a great time.
