I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The customer service was good, although there was quite a wait to be seated. The gyoza and karaage were delicious, and the ramen exceeded my expectations. I ordered the veggie garlic ramen, while others in my group had the big mountain ramen and the creamy vegan option. All of the dishes were excellent. I also appreciated the generous portion sizes for the price. The restaurant's interior has a cool vibe that gives off authentic Japanese feels. Next door is a Fuji market where you can buy Japanese products and grab ready-to-eat items like sushi and onigiri. While there are plenty of options, I found the prices to be a bit high. I visited Ohyama Ramen for the first time and was recommended the Creamy Vegan Ramen by a friend. It certainly lived up to expectations. My table was ready as soon as I arrived, and the service was both polite and efficient. The ramen itself was outstanding, and the green tea was served at the perfect temperature. The bill was presented promptly. The atmosphere at Ohyama is lovely, and I will definitely return.

A very solid ramen place up at Whistler, with some pretty nice options on the menu! Their spicy ramen is actually really spicy, which I enjoyed but wasn't expecting LOL. It is a bit pricer since it's up on the mountain, but worth the money for the food up here. I highly recommend their spicy shio ramen :

Delicious ramen and tasty donburi, the portion of ramen is huge, on the other hand the donburi is small. Good price, friendly service, cute and very unique decoration of the whole place simulating a small Japanese village. I will definitely go back whenever I return to Whistler, this is a must to visit. Pricey for a pretty below average bowl of Ramen. Had the Big Mountain miso and it was simply upcharges for standard items that are more often included in a good Ramen. I wasn't impressed by the pork portions, food or quality but the restaurant is very nice and interesting.

The prices are reasonable, though they might be about 15-25% higher than a typical Japanese ramen restaurant in Richmond, BC, which is understandable. However, I found the shoyu soup base to be quite salty for my taste.
