We haven't dined in yet, so this review focuses mainly on our takeout experience. The Good: The wait staff was exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and professional. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the flatbread was delightful, and the salad with blue cheese was a lovely surprise. The restaurant's interior is unique and definitely distinguishes it from a typical dining atmosphere. The Bad: However, I found the portion sizes, especially for the salad and shrimp appetizer, to be somewhat small considering the price point (I have a fondness for shrimp and would love more!). This restaurant is fantastic! Dining in their unique antique booth setup was a delightful experience. The food was superb—the filet was cooked to perfection, the fried okra had a wonderful crispiness despite not being battered, and the desserts were absolutely heavenly. The key lime pie is made from the owner’s grandmother’s recipe, and I can’t stop thinking about the bourbon pecan cobbler served with ice cream; it's perfect for satisfying a sweet craving. I highly recommend this place for a lovely family outing!
I have to say, Olaf and Chef Liz went above and beyond to surpass our expectations! The food presentation was stunning, the variety was just right, and the build-your-own s'mores were a delightful addition. The service was attentive, and every dish we tried was delicious.

I really enjoy Olaf's as a fantastic dining destination in Clifton, featuring good to excellent live music and food! However, I have to give it 3 stars because the wait service is consistently below par. If you don't mind waiting 10-20 minutes between water refills and other requests, you can still have a good time. I appreciate the variety of food options available, like the Smoked Brie Plate shown below.

My husband and I decided to stop by on a whim, and I'm so glad we did! The menu was limited, which usually indicates that the dishes are well-prepared, and that was absolutely true for both our dinner and dessert! The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic! I wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 recommendation.
I went and had lunch at Olafs on a week day. I had their honey stinger chicken it was a fried chicken breast drizzled with a yummy sweet sauce and it came with delicious crispy French fries. I really enjoyed it and will be back. The waitress and employees were all friendly and proficient.
The atmosphere is really charming! It's situated within an antique mall. The service was outstanding, and the waitstaff were very accommodating. Dinner was enjoyable—not the most incredible food, but definitely worth stopping by.
During our journey from Austin to Meridian on Highway 6, we decided to stop for the Sunday Brunch. It was our first visit, and we were thrilled to give it five stars in every category!
