Called in to make a reservation for a 50th birthday celebration. After being seated we ordered drinks and food. A gentleman at the next table asked the birthday person if he wanted a drink or dessert. The birthday gentleman stated he wanted dessert. He asked the waitress how much the average dessert was she stated $10. The gentleman stated here’s $25 get the birthday person what he asks for and left. That $25 was pocketed by the waitress as the birthday person got nothing!!!! One of the orders was wrong and the remake took so long that everyone was done and wanted to go. At that point we asked for a box and the bill. The bill came no box! We asked for refills on a soda and that took forever....
We had a disappointing experience at Old Chicago Pizza. The dough in my pizza and calzone was undercooked, service was slow, and the server mishandled the situation. Although my kids' food was good, the raw dough caused stomach aches.. Throwing pizza back in oven didn’t seem satisfactory when both pizza and Calzone were undercooked having to wait even longer when food was rushed when restaurant wasn’t very busy.
Plenty of beer choices, and service beer suggestions were great. The pizza came out quick, and was big enough for day or two of leftovers. They came in handy for hotel and travels. Definitely will stop back again either for the great beer or other food selection. There was also some cool metal mugs im assuming you get if you want to be a member of some kind.
Other locations are better, beer was ok, but the Guinness was barely full to the G, if you’re a Guinness drinker you understand how low and bad poor that is…. Pizza was ok, but there’s better locations. Definitely recommend the other locations better, don’t know why this one has such has such has high reviews….
