We've driven past the Old Hare and Hounds hundreds of times but never been in. Fancied a steak on Thursday and saw they were doing a steak night so decided to give it a try. We both really enjoyed our meals the steaks were cooked to perfection and accompanied by mushrooms, tomatoes, onion rings, peas and chips. All delicious! Great value and everyone was really friendly. So pleased we went!
This is a fantastic locals' pub in the heart of the village. The pub is quirky, with several cosy little areas inside and a great outside seating area at the back. The selection of drinks and food is brilliant and all reasonably priced. The staff and locals are friendly, and there's always something going on from bands and karaoke to the famous cheese night!
Was here last night with family and friends, it was steak night, we all had rump steak, all cooked to what we asked for, medium, cooked to perfection , service was fantastic, very attentive staff couldn't do enough for us, John and his team are fantastic, would definitely return.

Awesome place, friendly people and friendlier staff. The food was amazing and the chef even made the effort to check up on us to make sure everything was to our liking. It was and couldn't be happier.
Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch. Generous portions and great value. Service was spot on and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet table in well spaced area. Would highly recommend.
