Old Jody's - Reservar una mesa

Old Jody is a solid burger and steak independently owned restaurant. Service was fine if a bit hurried. The menu has a nice mix of burgers, steaks, even seafood. I was not in a burger mood so I had popcorn shrimp which was fine if not spectacular. Isuspect that burgers and steaks might be more their focus. I reserve fives for truly spectacular and enjoyable places. If Ilived locally I would probably eat here periodically just for variety. If you were looking for something different than thestandard corporate owned restaurants give Old Jody's a try.

First time eating here and we had a lovely lunch. When we walked in it was busy and luckily we found a table, but we noticed that everyone just sits with one another until the tables fill up. I thought that was nice because it makes you feel like you’re one big family. I got the chicken fried steak and my husband got a Jody’s burger. It was delicious, and those rolls are the best I’ve ever had!! I would recommend this place to everyone and we will be back again! Also thank you to the staff for being welcoming and friendly. :

I had to wait to get home, and be medically pulled out of a Coma , from devouring most of this chicken fried steak. The only gripe I have is 1.no debit/charge capabilities. 2.a wee bit slow on service. Friendly, but a little slow. The service industryquickly chews up non worthy people and spits them out. Be personable, and multitask....that 's the recipe. Anyway, awesome littleplace right by the VA! Jody 's will get my business. I will bring anyone I know here! Go here!

First time at Jody?s, but I liked the way the outside looked, and the parking lot was full. It did not disappoint! It is one of those great types of restaurants of old that reminded me of my dining experiences of my youth, which you rarely find these days.The food was great and the service was top notch. I wolfed down my burger and hand cut fries while the vintage jukebox playedaway?..

Awesome burger. Kids loved the chili Frito pie and the BLT. Husband loved the chicken fried steak and Mac n cheese. Chocolate molten cake with ice cream was delicious, too. Seating was quick but there was a long wait for the meal, even after the lunchrush on a weekday.
