Old Mcdonald Fish Camp Inc

We tried to go here a couple of times. Both times were on a Saturday. Super crowded as soon as they open. The staff actually suggested coming after 7 if you want to avoid the crowd and the wait. Food was pretty good. Wouldn’t say it was exceptional but it wasn’t bad. Service was good and staff was friendly. It had an rustic look and chill environment. Parking lot is a little funny. It might be better to drop someone off at the entrance to get on the wait list if you arrive early enough, then go park the car. The cat fish stew was not what I expected. I expected big chunks and the only chunks were potato. The fish was so Minced it was not good and was very spicy. The hush puppies and gator bites were great. My scallops came fried and were chewy.
