Very good local breakfast and lunch spot. We eat here often as it's walkable in downtown Clawson and it has never disappointed.The service is always attentive and nice.The food is fresh and I love how large the omelletes are. I would recommend their sausage over their bacon as a side. My go to order is the country omellete with gravy on top. My wife loves the hash browns and we both always notice that the coffee is extra strong compared to any diner we have been. The staff is great about coffee refills too.They have a dedicated customer base because the owner is very kind and attentive. Glad this is a well run local joint that so many support. This was my first time having breakfast at Old Port, and it was a wonderful experience. The place wasn't too crowded, so we were seated right away. The service was exceptional! They have a nice selection of comfort food, including biscuits and gravy and grits. The menu is straightforward, but it was just right for our breakfast, and it was much less hectic than the Coney restaurant. Food rating: 4/5.
The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the environment was spotless. I ordered a Philly Steak Sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. While the price was somewhat elevated, the quality and quantity of the food made it worthwhile. I would certainly consider returning in the future. Food: 5/5.
Ironic that it is called a “family restaurant” the service received made us feel more like strangers than family. As for the food it would rate less than average at best. While I had high hopes for this restaurant we were disappointed with the non-friendly service and less than average food.

Really great hometown family restaurant. My kids love coming here for weekend breakfasts, which we still try to do every now again even after moving out of Clawson. The staff are so nice and on top of everything, and the food is good we've never had anything we didn't like.Food: 4/5
The food was pretty good, the atmosphere was basic, and the server was awesome! I just noticed the non-cash fee on my receipt, but nothing like not disclosing that up front! It's not my job to pay for your cost of doing business that you get to write off!Food: 4/5
The food was very good. The baked lasagna was delicious ? and had a unique spice/ twist to it. Also, would highly recommend the stuffed grape leaves and gyro, and I really liked the amount of dill in the spinach pie.Food: 5/5
