we have here on Saturday night the smoked garlic ciabatta with bulge butter the pimento filled green olives to have before our starters along with a few nice cocktails. the olives were really nice freshly tasting good quality oliven, the garlic ciabatta was good. the stater, which we used for the wild mushroom risotto Scotch-Ei, white wine sauce, this was very nice, although quite a large part for a beginner, but very tasty. The vegan menu here at The Old Rec is amazing, a real treat. I've been a few times lately and it's always difficult to choose what to order. I keep finding excuses to visit and escape from various friends. My only complaint is that the puddings on the menu were floating or similar and after all that lovely food in front of it there has never been room! I would like something lighter as an option. Highly recommended.
We came across the Old Rectifying House by chance. Spotted it had a vegan menu, and so stopped for a bite to eat and a beer. We have been back several times since. Feels upmarket. Very nice for dinner. Knowledgeable staff, and an innovative vegan menu. Delicious food. Great selection of vegan beers and wines. Great atmosphere. Beer garden for the summer. Handy for the cricket. We will be back.
wow! what an amazing discovery! they drive to birmingham and stopped in worcester for lunch. I had the mussel cat and my partner had the fried blue cheese for starter. we had both the feather wood steak and maic. everything was high quality and the service was great. can mistake this place, would highly recommend!

A wide range of vegan dishes that are a bit out of the ordinary. I ate here alone as I was in the area for work and they made me feel very welcome. Will definitely come back!
every time we visit worcester we go to this restaurant. it is a fantastic place that eat is excellent, the staff all warm and friendly. far better than all chain runs.
The vegan menu is superb loads to chose from and all home made and delicious, service is great too ! The restaurant is gorgeous beautiful bar overlooking the river
I was here because I showed up with my brother. eating was amazing and served with a smile! the prices are good for excellent eating.
