Absolutely brilliant pub. The pub itself is clean and well kept, the decoration is modern but suitable for such an old building. The toilets were absolutely immaculate. The drinks choice, while a little expensive, was good, need to carbonate the Fizzy drinks a bit more though. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The real treat is the drinking garden which boasts stunning views. I would highly recommend this pub
We came to this gorgeous pub today as a group of 4, we booked for lunch due to the great reviews and lovely looking pictures and we are so glad we did. The place was really nice, lovely atmosphere, the staff were amazing, so caring, so helpful and really just lovely. The food was outstanding and the view was also amazing. We highly recommend this place and certainly will be back thank you guys
For outdoor seating with a view 5 stars. Book on weekends as popular. For pizza and food sad face. It was not busy and we waited over an hour for our food, with an apology but nothing to rectify this. The pumpkin pizza seriously lacked flavour and the rosemary is thrown on after not cooked on the pizza. The dough was exactly like a store bought one.
Dropped by quickly after a round of golf. .. A GREAT PUB!! Firstly what a view from the garden!! Secondly the staff were very friendly and very accommodating (even though we hadn't booked. My friend had a function here and the staff were great and very accommodating. We were very impressed with the service of everyone here, we also found this pub to have a really nice ambiance with a good selection of beers Thank you all.
The food is still good and the staff were lovely and well informed about the menu etc. But the service was glacial. Admittedly we were a table of 10 but we were all sat down at 5:45. At 9pm some of us had to leave without having desert.
A lovely pub which has the advantage (for me) of being an easy and pleasant walking distance from my house. I've not eaten here yet, but the beer is good, and the view out the back is the best of any pub I've known. Highly recommended.
