Nice old school pub. There’s a pool table and lots of different arrangements of seating for small and large groups. There’s a beer garden much larger than the interior of the pub, offering lots of great seating on a sunny day. There is also covered seating to keep out of the sun, or in case of rain. The beer and cider selection is fine— exactly what you’d expect from a pub with usual lagers and ales as well as 3 guest ales on tap. Snacks bits of food served like cheese rolls, nuts, pork scratchings. Staff are prompt and make an effort to keep the place tidy. I've been coming here since I've turnt 18, it's my local pub and in my opinion the best in chippenham by a mile. It's been through some changes since then but genuinely I adore this place it's always a golden atmosphere and the staff are legends. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
