on this small tee room while they went along the canal of caunsall. great to find outside seats on picnic tables, well spaced. good choice of hot and cold drinks and also ice cream. nice service, we had great breakfast sinking from sausage or...Bacon and beautiful to have the choice of all the meal. there was a large selection of delicious homemade cakes including carrot, victoria sponge, salted caramel to name some, so we took some away with us. can not wait to return.
This charming pub sits right by the canal, offering diners a picturesque view of narrow and barge boats navigating through the lock. The food is delicious, representing true pub grub, and they have a great selection of ales. The location is also convenient for campers at the Wolverley caravan camping site.
Such a lovely surprise find today. Loved the food. 5 different meals for 5 people all loved their meals. I feel very relaxed after a chilled afternoon in the sun eating good food in a beautiful setting by the locks

Ordered food at the bar, sat outside near canal.. food came quickly and was very well presented, young staff very polite great service will visit again great stop for a bike ride along canal..
Great to find somewhere open to get a takeaway drink. The cakes are good too. After a walk it’s great to sit on the wall or the lock gate and watch the world go by. Socially distanced of course
Limited choice at present but at least it’s open. Seating outside so a great place to ‘bubble’ with friends after a socially distanced walk Friendly staff. No toilet facilities at present
This charming pub by the canal is perfect for enjoying a meal and a pint. Sitting outside in the sun, you can watch the narrow boats passing through the lock right in front of you.

Lovely pub with delicious potato dishes. They allow dogs inside the bar. The old smithy teestube is a great spot for a cup of tea after a leisurely walk along the canal.
I stopped a quick break here. small drinks, a small pot of ice and cake very small piece of lemon drizzle) for I do not think we will return!
