We went for a little relaxing holiday. We found a hotel without atmosphere and unfriendly. The room was missing toilet paper, bathrobe and other things. The pool had cold water and we couldn't stay in it. I booked a small luxurious holiday but in reality it was not to my liking. We went to the pub, the food was good but the service was terrible. We certainly won't be back, too bad. Rooms: I had booked a large room and upon arrival they gave me a different room to the one I had booked, then I had to go to reception and they changed it for me. The room was missing toilet paper bathrobe and other things.
We traveled all the way from Texas, USA, to use this place as a base for our visit to the Cotswolds, and we were not disappointed. The Old Swan is truly enchanting with its rich history and charm, while still offering all the modern amenities for a delightful stay. The Pie Brew was fantastic, serving incredible traditional English dishes. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there twice and loved everything we tried. The staff was incredibly friendly, contributing to an unforgettable trip. We definitely plan to return, although I only wish this place weren't 4,700 miles away!
I stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday. While it was a bit pricey, the restaurant was well-maintained both inside and out. The building is very old and steeped in history, though you wouldn’t know much about it unless you explored the area, did some research, or spoke with a local. The village itself is lovely, making the visit worthwhile overall. The food is certainly worth the price. Service rating: 4.

My now wife and I recently got married here. The whole weekend was brilliant. The food was excellent, the rooms were great and the staff were amazing, doing whatever they could to make us and our guests stay as good as possible, nothing was too much work. We ate at The Swan we just wanted something light as very hot but had great food. Ploughman's sharing board was great and the baked Alaska was fab. Lovely! Great attentive staff we will be back Food drinks: Already mentioned above Service: 5 Location: 5
