Loved my experience here! It kind of reminds me of Claro's Italian market, but with a restaurant. When you walk in, you'll find a super clean shop with a deli case with meats, cookies, desserts, and then you can line up to order to eat in or takeaway. Italian food, snacks, and wines from San Antonio Winery and other wines are available for sale. There is also numerous tables available if you want to dine in. This was our first time here. Stopped by to have a cup of soup and a sandwich. We ordered the Italian wedding soup and the chili along with half California Grilled Cheese sandwich. The wedding soup was okay not a whole lot to say. The chili was mild but had lots of flavors. It really hit the spot on this rainy day. The California Grilled Cheese was excellent. It preserved the grilled cheese flavor plus added just enough other flavors to enhance it. Fresh sliced avocado, red onion and greens make it a bit more healthy to boot. Was craving a sandwich and didn't want to go one of those that is at every corner. I remembered that there was one in the area so I looked it up. Went inside and it's so nice and clean. When you walk in they have a lot of items you can buy and take home. They have a big selection of meats and deli items. I got to the counter and asked the lady what she recommended. She recommended the roast beef sandwich with grilled onions. I ordered that and made it a combo. Macaroni salad and a drink. Community staple and piece of history in the area, yet I have never been until recently. It's both a deli, mini market of imported European goods, a bakery, and an eatery. They have lots of delicious food to offer at an affordable price and they also have family meals for takeout for big gatherings and events. We ended up getting the watermelon Italian ice from their fridge (sweet and refreshing on a toasty day) and a New York style Hot Dog. This came with mustard, sauerkraut, relish, and cooked onions. Simple and delish and a decently sized hot dog for $6.75. I also got some watermelon Italian ice for the road, can't go wrong with a sweet treat to go! Definitely gotta stop by again one day... Thank you all Yelp reviewers who have confirmed how delicious, tender and great value the broasted chicken combo is. We were a group of 3 so it was a better value to get the 8 pieces family combo since we all wanted the broasted chicken all for $30. Nicely crisp on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Came with slaw, potato wedges and rolls. Even had leftovers! Huge dining area and smaller market area for deli cuts and sandwiches. I'm so happy i finally got to try to place. Highly recommend it and would come back for more chicken and their other options like pizza and sandwiches.

I am so glad I finally tried this great place, it's an Italian deli that serves up delicious sandwiches, salads, chicken, and a few Italian staples. The salads in the deli area can be sampled before purchase. I had the marinated olives, the garlic mushrooms, crab pasta salad, and marinated vegetable salad. For our entrees I had the eggplant parm and my companion had the lasagna. Both came with huge portions, sides, and garlic bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. There is ample room to sit and enjoy your meal and staff is welcoming, I can't wait to return.

This is our favorite deli and we go every chance we get. The sandwiches are delicious as are the side dishes. They have a good selection of bottled beer, which is always a plus for me. Even if we can't dine there, we will buy a container of tuna salad and squaw bread to make sandwiches at home. My granddaughter loves their cookies so I'll stop by after work and pick up a selection for her.

A truly hidden gem in Covina. They have a plethora of baked goods here. Their salads and entrees are super delicious here too. I enjoy all the flavors that come with my food and the vintage ambient setting.
