On a positive note, the steak was quite large—a nice, hefty piece of prime rib, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. The chef could really benefit from learning to use seasonings properly. There’s nothing worse than spending $32 on a meal that leaves you feeling unsatisfied. I'm not a fan of adding salt to my food at the table or dousing my steak in sauce, but the horseradish was the only thing that made the steak tolerable. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which looked more appealing, but she said the flavor was unremarkable, and the fish fillets were likely frozen and battered.

My daughters and I stopped here on a roadtrip to Woodstock. Our hotel recommended this place and it sounded good. It was not only good, it was awesome. The staff was terrific. Our hostess Sarah was very pleasant and our waiter George was very good at making sure we were happy. The star of the evening was the BBQ. Our meal came out in less than 10 minutes. It was moist, full of flavor freaking delicious! We had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, corn bread and baked beans. So good! The corn fritters lacked any visible corn and had no real corn flavor, plus the portion of maple syrup served with them was ridiculously small. For my main course, I had the brisket sandwich, which came with a nice side salad and looked appealing. However, the meat was extremely fatty and chewy, making it largely inedible; I had to leave quite a bit of it on my plate, which was quite embarrassing. The waitress graciously offered to replace it, but I had to decline because I needed to catch a tour boat.
Ole Savannah, I truly want to like you, but during my last few visits, the only standout elements were the service and the view—not the food.
We had a delightful lunch on a Monday afternoon at this restaurant. Our server was kind and gave us great service. We ordered fish and chips, fried catfish, and a Nashville style spicy chicken sandwich, along with a side of mac and cheese which we shared. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. It was a pleasant surprise to find out they have a designated area for dog-friendly tables, so we were able to bring our well-behaved pup along. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

All of our meals were excellent except for the chicken pie, which came out in a cast iron frying pan and overdone. The waitress said oh no, it is supposed to be like that That person had only a few bites and was not impressed(she is a restaurant owner). The pork shoulder, Jambalaya and Gumbo were outstanding. We would definitely come back if we get up that way again.
Roxana is, and has always been, the best bartender! We came for happy hour oysters and ended up staying for dinner. Everything was incredibly delicious, and Roxana always ensures we have a fantastic time. We've visited multiple times before, and she consistently takes care of us with the utmost professionalism and friendliness!
I had a fantastic dining experience at this Southern restaurant. Despite being hesitant because of the mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The menu was unique, the building had a cool vibe, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy.
Despite having made a reservation that indicated our preference not to sit near the door, we were unfortunately assigned a table in that location. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking.

We went there 40 minutes before close and they turned us away because they closed the kitchen already. Why bother posting your hours?
