Adjacent to the Gran Son Net’s fine dining Oleum restaurant is the Treehouse which is available for private dinners and which I thought would be ideal to celebrate a special occasion for my wife I. There are a number of tasting menus on line but because my wife can be a bit fussy I asked the hotel to make certain changes to suit her tastes which the helpful Katrin happily arranged. Everything was sorted via e-mail before we arrived and we ended up having a very enjoyable evening. The setting is fabulous with panoramic views from the treehouse; the service was spot on – very friendly and at a pace that suited us both; and the food was beautifully presented including a couple of memorable dish...
I was two days ago for a romantic dinner with my wife why we are in Honey moon. The first surprise was the beatiful room where the restaurant is placed, the second was the big smile of the maitre. He recived us like friends and looked for a nice table. After sitting us, he oferred as an aperitive two glasses of their own excellent spanish champagne with this big smile). We ordered two starters, a pie cream with scallops and spanish jam and for afterwards we followed the suggestion of the maitre. Supertasty seabass in salt! When i ordered fue check arrived fue last surprise fue maitre cames with ir and we was explained him that we was just married and he said us just a moment and he returned...
We had a small wedding ceremony at the hotel and a dinner party afterwards in the Treehouse. Katrin, the even coordinator/receptionist, was great. From the moment we arrived, she was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel had amazing views and the architecture was stunning. The Treehouse is a small private dining area overlooking the valley. The food and service were incredible. Multiple courses paired with local wines. All of the courses used local ingredients and had incredible flavors. We will absolutely return here we we come back to Majorca. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality and unique experience.
Oleum isn't especially grand (there rest of Gran Hotel Son Net is rather more so) but ticked every box for us: good food, a sensibly priced wine list, very engaging staff and an enticing atmosphere. I wouldn't travel kilometres just for the restaurant, it's not that kind of destination, but we dined twice and really enjoyed ourselves. Reserva una mesa ahora
