I have not been treated so well or ate as much wonderful Mediterranean food in a very long while. Aleca (sp?) took care of us like we were family. We commented more than once it was like having a Greek mom filling you up. We let her serve and chose. Village Salad, fried olives, tiropita shaped like an eggroll, flatbread, octopus... The highlight was the goat shoulder. So tender it fell off the bone and a rich flavor exceeding expectation. There was no room for dessert so she brought it anyway. Creme brûlée and Ekmek, which I think means heavenly pillow of awesome. A treat of Mastika for aperitif with coffee and now it's off to food coma.
We met friends here for lunch in the premises which once housed Con's Seafood.It had a pleasant ambience and although we weren't greeted at the door, our drink orders were taken quickly and some tatty menus were delivered. The drinks came out quickly and orders were taken. The food was delivered in a timely and attractive way. It was satisfying to both the eye and the palette and I must admit I wasn't expecting it to be so good. I would definitely recommend it.
We have been eating with the owner of this restaurant for years, and she always produces good, tasty, Mediterranean food. We love too that she's open on Sunday lunchtimes. We went on a Sunday in June, most recently, and had great film and lamb dishes. But, if there's spatchcock on the menu, that's what I usually go for. It's yum. It can be noisy here, but that's a small problem in such a friendly, cheery restaurant.
Ridiculously popular local restaurant that is worth seeking out within the concrete wasteland of Southlands. Get greeted like you are family, treated like you are the only ones there, and fed like you are famished. The decor is pedestrian but the friendly service and tasty food is all I saw.

Have been here twice now and both times was thoroughly impressed. First time friends and I shared a few of the entree dishes (the meatballs were the favourite for all) and second time had gnocchi and tried some slow cooked lamb shoulder both were one of the best I have had
Booking for 7 with four with varying food allergies. Staff handled food allergies very well. Entrees and mains delicious and we kept sampling each other's as each raving about their dish. Unfortunately no dairy nor egg free desserts.
Another surprise in Mawson - fresh, delicious. Grilled seafood was amazing, but the slow cooked lamb was UNBELIEVABLE. Truly worth the trip to Canberra. Pretty good brûlée as well - just a great lunch.
Great Greek food. Warm atmosphere and very nice place. Amazingly warm and friendly customer service. An absolute gem and certainly one of the best restaurants in Canberra!

The fish on special that my partner got was fantastic and I loved the ravioli, very happy with the polite service and friendliness of the staff
