We Love Italian food and just moved to the area and came across this restaurant. They have a front dining area with small table and close setting with ambiance. In the back it is family style with bigger tables and open forum in a solarium. The host or manager took care of us served for us. He was friendly, helpful and brought out his favorite appetizer the grilled octopus( even though) we didn't order it. YOU DEFINITLY SHOULD!! Olivella's pizza is fantastic. I especially like the Tartufata (tomato, cheese, mushroom and truffle oil. The sizes are good; the round is 6 pieces and the square I believe is 9. And the prices are great for each. There is a nice list of pastas and starters. Each day there is a meat and fish/seafood special. I am hoping they expand and have some of these dishes as regulars. I love the backroom (indoor garden It is a pleasant cheerful place. Right now Olivella is a BYOB but the manager says that soon they will be getting a liquor license. Esta fue nuestra primera visita al almuerzo ... el menú es el mismo para el almuerzo o la cena ... Nueva y encantadora joya del barrio. Fue muy tranquilo el almuerzo del mediodía ... compartimos un caprese excelente ... la mozzarella estaba deliciosamente cremosa ... luego compartimos una pappardella a la boloñesa ... perfectamente preparada, abundante y deliciosa ... nos llevamos un poco a casa ... recién están comenzando ... . y espero que más gente los descubra. This was our first visit/lunch... the menu is the same for lunch or dinner.. Lovely new neighborhood gem. It was very quiet/midday lunch... we shared an excellent caprese... the mozzarella was deliciously creamy.. then we shared a pappardella bolognese... perfectly prepared, plentiful/delicious.. took some of it home ... They are just starting out... and I hope more people will discover them. Prices are moderate/pricy, but the portions are plentiful for sharing. Will definitely return.
The service at Olivella was excellent the food delicious. Olivella is a BYOB so bring your own wine and if you forget, right across the street there's a liquor store. My family and I had a great time and enjoy the delicious Italian food.

Lugar muy agradable con muy buena comida. Pedí la chuleta especial, que era tan buena como cualquier chuleta. Papas fritas con romero, ¡por encima! La pizza era buena, no la mejor que he probado, pero vale la pena probarla.

Very nice place with very good food. Ordered the chop special, which was as good as any chop house. Side of fries with rosemary, over the top! Pizza was good not the best I ever had, but worth a try.
It's good to know of a place tucked away in the neighborhood that has superb food.
