Olympia is a wonderful family run restaurant where you always get really authentic food. Having said this I on the other had would clearly recommend to stick with the Greek food and not choose pizza or pasta. Best choices are the lamb joints, which can be ordered with a variety of side dishes.The serving is very personal and Andreas (owner) likes to stay for a minute or two to casually chat. The restaurant is never empty, so expect to see many of the locals and families with small children. Also be sure to reserve when going on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or with more then 4.

Das Olympia ist für uns der derzeit beste Grieche in Bremen. Das Restaurant wird liebevoll geführt und bietet auf einer Tafel zusätzlich zur Standardkarte besonders zu empfehlende Gerichte an. DIe Weine kommen aus der Gegend um Olympia und sind besser, als das was man ansonsten beim Griechen angeboten bekommt. Zu empfehlen sind auch die Giros, sowie der Reis in Tomantesauce. Gewürzt wird mit frischen Gewürzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

the place is located in the north of the town of bremen called vegesack. very friendly service and very good eating only took more time than expected. but that was perhaps most freshly prepared.
