My experience here is always incredible! The owner is wonderful and the food is consistently delicious. I was there with my fiancé on Thursday evening. He ordered the stuffed cabbage with mashed potatoes, a burger with fries, and cream of chicken soup, while I had the BLT and veggie soup. Everything we had was fantastic! The staff is kind, funny, and warm-hearted, making it such a lovely family-friendly place. I've never had a bad meal or experience here; it’s always outstanding. I especially loved the creamy and flavorful coleslaw that came with my sandwich, and the tomatoes were so fresh, just like what you’d find in your grandma's garden. This is a local gem place. I would consider this a diner but not just your average diner. They serve traditional Greek food. I got the pork Souvlaki dish which was traditional marinated pork, potato disks, a pita, and a Greek salad. I was absolutely in heaven while eating this dish and I convinced myself that it was so good I was going to eat it all! (I tried to but couldn’t because look at that generous portion! . The Gryo was also delicious and I would recommend both dishes when visiting. Our waiter was also SO friendly that his personality alone was enough to make me visit this restaurant again. Seriously you’re missing out if you don’t try this restaurant!
This restaurant has been around for what feels like ages, and we finally decided to stop by and give it a try. Our waitress, Hillary, was fantastic! She was very friendly and, despite being the only one serving our section, she maintained her warm smile and attentive service throughout the evening. We began with the saganaki, which was delicious, followed by some soup that was also excellent. For our main course, everything was perfect, and we couldn't resist finishing off with dessert, which was scrumptious. However, we probably should have skipped the dessert since we were already quite full! We both agreed that we would definitely come back here again.
Olympic Star Restaurant is a hidden treasure that I stumbled upon a few months back. The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of dishes. Today, I opted for the Greek menu and enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki, which came with fries, pita, and Greek salad. It was absolutely delicious! Next time, I plan to try the pork. The food was decent and flavorful. However, our waitress seemed a bit stressed and lacking in personality; she was quite stoic. While she was professional, I would have appreciated a more engaged experience, especially for a Father's Day breakfast. It was clear that she wasn't enjoying her job and was just going through the motions, which is a disappointing way to live.
I still adore this place after all these years, and the owners are wonderful. However, I wish they would bring back the old brown gravy and reconsider their policy of only allowing one free refill on soft drinks. Soft drinks are quite profitable for any restaurant, so let me enjoy three sodas!
