So I Visited the olympus restaurant in Bolton for the first time and will be my last sat there having my meal, and I was discusted with the way the manager treat certain staff, he was on front of house and all I could here every 2 minutes to a young lad called Ryan, Ryan clear the table, Ryan put these two tables together no you done it wrong, Ryan show these to their table, Ryan get knives and forks and it went on constantly for half an hour, there were plenty of other staff doing nothing. But this poor lad was run of his feet, no staff member should be treated like a slave these days especially when there plenty of other staff there chatting. The restaurant was fall and nobody blinked a ey...
We ordered the £12 menu, which included a prawn cocktail, fish bites, café, and tea. The prawn cocktail was very small, and I wished there was more mayo on the side. The fish bites consisted of just two bites of fish, and there were only about 8 to 10 chips. The dessert was okay, but it seemed like they made a huge profit on it. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant anytime soon. The price of a can of coke was a shocking £2.45. If you're looking for value for your money, I would suggest going somewhere else. I really should have sent the meal back when it arrived.
I popped into this restaurant for coffee and a scone. Came to a whopping £7.45! I was stunned. The coffee was £3.50 and the tiny scone with little fruit in it, a heaped tspn of cream (how generous) 1/4 tablespn cheap jam and a small pat of butter. Absolutely overpriced. All I can say is that we must be paying for the heating in the place! I will not be going to this restaurant again! I think the majority that go here are well off pensioners who don't mind being ripped off!
Absolutely fantastic place, atmosphere very comfortable, staff very polite and friendly, food out of this world. Food arrived at table hot and looked delicious as well as tasting absolutely scrumptious. Would we go again? Oh yes definitely we are already talking about going again next week. If I could give a rating out of 10 I would rate it 20/10. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for? Get yourself there ASAP you are certainly missing out on a great experience. As always, this restaurant is fabulous. The staff is lovely and provides great service. The food is delicious with a good variety to choose from, and it's a good value for your money. We had the cod and chips meal, which was excellent. The hot chocolate drink was also fabulous. The Christmas menu looked appealing with the dishes on other tables.
Astonishingly poor value. Had an hour to kill so decided to have a larger lunch to save cooking in the evening. My meal wasn't even on a full size plate and at £11.75 the profit margins must be enormous!! I don't feel like I have eaten a meal and honestly think £3.75 would be a more fair price. How is this place so popular?
OMG Times are hard and it tells 6 chips and they count them! It makes no difference if you go for light bites or the 2 course meal. Rip off nowhere in my life have I been to a restaurant where they count the chips. The gravy and mushy peas pots were smaller than the ketchup pot. Go in for a coffee but do not go in for food.
Came as a group as part of an organised holiday.Great welcome lovely surroundings and the tastiest fish and chips we had in a long time. Apple pie was good too. They catered well for our vegan guest and also someone who couldn't eat fish! Staff were great. Reserva una mesa ahora
