Was here for a celebration dinner with my partner. Food was generally satisfactory but quite expensive for the size. Standouts were the duck breast and ocean trout cigars. The hand picked mud crab was disappointing for $42. There was far too much of the creamy dressing and it completely hid the sweet delicate flavour of the crab. The pressed duck leg terrine(? that completed the duck breast was mostly dry and needed a sauce to go with it. We were spooning over the jus that came with the breast to give it that extra bit of flavour and moisture. I visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon when it wasn't very busy, likely due to the impending recession. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The standout dishes included the Corn Tart, which is a must-try, and the Potato Rosti. The Wagyu beef was cooked to perfection, showcasing a fantastic cut. The chips were neatly stacked like a Jenga tower, and I suspect they were triple-cooked. The Smoked King Fish cigar also deserves a thumbs up. The only slight disappointment was the Flathead, which I found to be a bit too creamy when paired with the chickpeas, but that's just a matter of personal taste. I can see how this place has two chef’s hat. The food was impeccable and delicious. The trout cigars were the standout snack. The lamb dish was an explosion of flavour, there were so many great sauces on the plate. The buttery anchovy lemon fish broth was liquid gold. Must try the signature liquid cheesecake, I scrapped every last bit off the baking paper. The drinks list included a nice selection of local and international wines, plus there was a separate cocktail menu. We sat at the front bar area where it got busy and volume increased around 8pm. Omnia is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. Got the Beef Tartare, Scotch Eggs, Sourdough, Scallops and Chicken for the entrée. My favorite was the Beef Tartare and the Fried Chicken. Truly loved their 2 weeks dry-aged duck, it crispy skin and juicy meat was cooked perfectly. Had the duck with the Blue Moon Potato Rosti, it was a bit heavy combined with the duck, but the dish by it self tastes great! Although it's a bit pricey, I would definitely come back here to try the Smoked Ocean Trout Cigars and for the Dry Aged Duck again :
Everything we’ve ordered is delicious. Duck is an absolute highlight, crispy skin with a little bit sweetness and the breast cooked perfectly tender. They have a good selection of wine but it’s better to order bottles as the price for glasses is a lot more expensive if you compare them by the amount you’re getting. Service is friendly but just a little bit slow. Overall worth going.
Love the food, ambiance and service. My recommendations the pork dish is unbelievably good, quality meat cooked to perfection. Crab and avocado starter and Lamb main was delicious and liquid cheesecake is a must. Jazz night on Wednesday evenings is an absolute winner!

The food was delicious. The tartare was made right in front of us, adding a nice touch of entertainment. I specifically came to try the duck, and it did not disappoint—it was very flavorful and expertly prepared. The cocktails were also fantastic.
