This On The Border is outstanding! The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is pleasant. Some in particular are Hollie and Josh, they were working the bar section and made sure everyone was taken care of and happy, they are very engaging; which in our current climate is almost unheard of. They also customized my fajita order the way I like it, which shows the level of customer service you'll get here. Chips and salsa were good. So was the queso, but that 's where it all started going bad. Ordered the chimichanga. It came out piping hot but the beef was so chunky and not evened out. The beans were cold. Obviously had just been pulled out of the freezer and not warmed up enough. Got fries instead of rice and theybwere delicious and perfectly fried. The service started off great but the girl had to leave and pick up her friend so she told us she 'd have a coworker check on us. That never happened. During my first visit, I was quite disappointed. The service wasn’t great; I spent more time with an empty glass than a full one. It took a long time for the food to arrive, and the table next to us had to ask for their check four times before finally receiving it. We waited nearly 20 minutes for ours. The food also fell short of expectations. The chicken was lukewarm, the appetizer was dry, and the guacamole on the plate was almost hard, likely from sitting under a warming lamp for too long. This was our, my husband and I, first experience eating here. And boy were we disappointed, especially since the place was all but empty. We were seated, and sat there for 10 minutes before we were brought menus. Service was extremely slow, to say the least. Our waitress was not organized, brought things at different times, our food was warm, at best, when we finally got it and we hated to ask for anything because it took her forever to do a simple task. The food was quite delicious, especially after it was reheated. However, I have to deduct a star because several dishes ordered by my group arrived either cold or only slightly warm, which quickly turned cold again. One item was even fridge-cold. Once they heated our food, it tasted really good. Unfortunately, I have to take off another star due to the cleanliness of the place. It was very dirty, with food and trash scattered around, and there was a lot of garbage under the tables. The condition of the bathroom was absolutely appalling; I didn't even want to walk on the floor.
I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the short wait time—our table was ready in just 3 minutes. The restaurant is quite spacious, featuring a bar and numerous tables and booths. We were quickly served chips and salsa right after we were seated. Our waitress was incredibly efficient, friendly, and prompt; I just wish I had caught her name. The food arrived within 8-10 minutes, which was impressively quick, and everything tasted delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!

Came in on a Saturday night. Thought there would be a big wait but we were seated within 3 minutes. Big roomy restaurant with a bar. Lots of tables and booths. Served chips and salsa quickly after being seated. Our waitress was extremely efficient, very friendly and fast. Wish I would have gotten her name. Food came within 8-10 minutes, very fast. While the drinks and appetizers were enjoyable, our experience was marred by our waiter, Josh. He seemed to be either drunk or high, and took an unusually long time to bring out our orders, resulting in our frozen drinks nearly melting. Additionally, he forgot to check if we needed anything. Ultimately, his slow service led us to bypass our most important entrees.
