Oncle Scott's - Reservar una mesa

We were staying at the Ibis and this was a convenient place for a get together. I had read a review on the Ibis that said why go to a rubbish American diner when you can have lovely French cuisine but sometimes as a tourist it's nice to have a break from that too! 10 of use had starters, mains, desserts and some great beer with no complaints at all (perhaps from the two guys that decided to get the death burger for the free t-shirt and struggled to finish but otherwise all ok). Even the salad was great and very filling. Service was the usual laid back French style but once in holiday mode that's all good. A decent meal, would return.

Not easy to find but very popular. The staff are very friendly and a very good menu with lots of choice. There is also a specials menu which is also worth remembering, tonight was kangaroo meat. We had a Scott's cheese burger (very tasty) and the shark which I understand was very good as well. We didn't reserve a table, which wasn't a problem at evening opening time, but it looks as if they get busy later on.

A 40-minute wait for service is simply unacceptable. The staff were less than helpful. There were a few wandering around as the place wasn't all that busy. We had to get up and ask for assistance... which we didn't get. Also, the menu was limited and prices appeared a little inflated. We went to the nearby McDonald's and received polite, friendly, timely service. Learn something Uncle Scott!!

The place is funny. The burgers are okay but not knicker ripping. Staff tries to be friendly and helpful. It is a restaurant chain after all. The quality is not more than average. It is not worth a detour but if you are bored of sea food.... We would probably not go again

Funny place, cowboy western styled, food was good, service was good, atmosphere good. Fun place and decent value. Would be happy to go again
