I had heard so much about the Sunday Roasts at The White Horse, Sittingbourne that I just had to try one for Myself. I work on a Sunday so I ordered a take away to collect after work. It's reputation certainly preceded it and it was as good as everything I'd heard about it and much more. I had the mixed meats which were Chicken, Pork, Beef and Gammon and all meats were cooked to Perfection as were the fresh vegetables of Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Yorkshire Pudding, Cauliflower Cheese, Cabbage, Carrots and Peas. We've visited a couple of times both in the restaurant and we've collected takeaway roasts too. You literally cannot beat it. The service, the grub, everyone is so very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that the food is hot, top quality and made with love and care. Good old fashioned roast dinner, rustic but very tasty. Would recommend this pub to anybody. Deb and Simon are so good at what they do. They meet and greet and are always there for a chat, despite how busy they are. Exactly what you need from a landlady and landlord.
We went to the White Horse for Sunday dinner with friends, it’s the first time we’ve been and it was outstanding. Really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere in the pub, food was really good and very reasonably priced. Jane was great, the owners, Deb and Simon made us feel very welcome and the girls that waited on our table were absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back.
The Sunday roast at The White Horse is the best I've ever had. The home-cooked food is excellent, with a great variety of vegetables and meat, all served in generous portions. The dessert selection is lovely, and everything is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect place for a family roast, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere run by wonderful landlords.

Recently visited The White Horse in Sittingbourne for a Sunday Roast. All I can say is WOW!! The food was magnificent and the service was excellent. We booked in for a roast as a family after a recommendation from a friend and we will be frequenting The White Horse now on a regular basis. The atmosphere is fantastic and so welcoming.
Best roast I’ve had in ages. Pub very welcoming. No swearing heard unlike most pubs these days. Service was amazing, waitress was helpful and friendly. Food didn’t take long to be served. Far exceeded my expectations. All reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning again. 10/10
This restaurant serves genuine homemade food from start to finish, all at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are friendly, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend trying the Sunday afternoon roast, and I will definitely be visiting again soon!
Myself, my husband Aunt and Uncle all visited today and had the Sunday lunch. The food was amazing and portions were great. I would recommend this lil gem to anyone looking for a great family atmosphere good food and friendly staff.

This was the best Sunday roast I've ever had! The beef and pork were incredibly tender, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Everything was served piping hot. The waitresses were both efficient and friendly. Thank you!
