It's a pub. You want a drink or six with a couple of buddies? This place is perfect for it. You'll probably make a few more. They do not call it one and all for nothing; every welcome and made *feel* welcome. I mean, you could end involuntarily with a pinch with the landlord, so friendly is this place. I loved it, my family loved it, my friends loved it, it's the perfect no nonsense pub. And no, they do not serve food unless you count scratches and peanuts. But that's not the point!

Best pub in town. Good beer, friendly locals, cheap prices and lovely staff/landlord and landlady. The pool table is fantastic and maintained to a very high standard as the pub has tow teams that play there on a Thursday night. All the main sports events are shown, from football to rugby and even every race of the the MotoGP.

Terrific pub. By far the best in penzance, a tad out of the touristy area, all for the better.
