Food: The food was good but didn’t live up to the expectations we had for this restaurant. The absolute best bang for the buck is the chicken sandwich. It was also the most delicious dish we ate here. Service: We has the bartender serving us. It was fine. Not very friendly and he lingered till we made our decision. Atmosphere: love the atmosphere here. This place has a fantastic southern hunting lodge feel to it. Over all: This is my second time eating here. It’s been consistently ok.
My wife and I have been loyal patrons of One Eared Stag for years, especially on special occasions. We have always enjoyed the satisfying and refined dining experience it offers, and we highly recommend it to everyone we know. My daughter and I particularly love the Kid's Chicken tenders and meat stack, which we believe are the best in the city. The restaurant's other entrees are consistently excellent, with surprising ingredients and beautiful presentation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant! Personally, I found the lighting to be too bright. I would prefer more ambient lighting in a setting like this. It felt like there was a spotlight shining on my face, and I noticed other guests at nearby tables experiencing the same thing. Despite this, we will definitely be returning in the future as the food and service were excellent!
Nice place, fun atmosphere, great drinks, very nice and attentive staff. I ordered kimchi Carolina Goldreis and it was phenomenal. We also ordered Smelt, Steaktare, Dumpster Salad, English peas and collar (we were hungry). Every single thing was delicious and well prepared. If I lived in Atlanta, I would often visit this place. The Brunch menu options were unique and all looked great. The menu changes often. We had one off menu option and a fried chicken/biscuits and gravy/egg dish. Both were fantastic and we were stuffed at the end. The drinks were solid as well. Great service.
Smaller sized venue with a cozy feel that wraps around you like a warm blanket. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful in navigating the menu. The food was delicious, flavorful. Thank you! We will definitely come again!
Consistently excellent food and service. Great range of entres and main courses. Dessert menu always has new options. Super fresh oysters.
