One Trick Pony - Reservar una mesa

I guess overall we were a little disappointed. The food was ok, but not great and certainly expensive for what you get. I really like the concept of what they are trying to achieve and the intermate nature of the upstairs wine bar, but the quality across the dishes was not consistent. The dumplings were the highlight, but the steak, crab, bread and onion butter we found to be all a bit average. One positive was the service which was very attentive.

had such a wonderful time at a trick pony, very glad that I saw the names and was intrigued. the personal made us feel as if we were masters. I know so much about New Zealand now. eating was beautifully presented and interesting perhaps not its brand in taste at some points. on every place I have now recommended many of my Hospo friends.

We had such a fun dinner here, really interesting take on different foods and the wait staff were fantastic. I think the negative reviews on Google were just early teething issues. We experienced nothing but good service and good food. We will be back.

We had a fabulous meal here last night. Sitting very close the the open kitchen it was great to watch the chef at work especially in such a small space. Service was great and martini’s mixed to order excellent. We had a lovely night

Delicious food, made with flair. An inviting upstairs dining room, small and rather noisy, great for dinner for 2 or a small group.
