Visited this restaurant as the one we originally wanted to go to was closing for the night. Ordered the house wine and was presented with the most expensive wine on the menu. Granted it was only €36 for the bottle of white but we decided on the €14 house white for a litre. When we brought this up with the waitress, she feigned ignorance and apologised, and said we could have the bottle for €20 I ordered a lasagne and my husband saw the chef take it out the freezer and put it in the microwave. The food was honestly, the worst we have had in over 25 years of eating in Callao Savaje. The first issue was the timing of each meal…There were 7 of us that ate here and all of our meals arrived at different times, with the paella arriving at least 1 hour after everyone else’s. The next issue was that if you order pasta and a sauce, my son had two meals come out at the same time it was obvious that the menu was unclear as who would order two meals? The main issue though, was the quality of the food… the lasagne was small but quite acceptable, the burger was literally a burger, lettuce and fries cooked fine, but what a strange meal, the mussels were poor and very watery and the ravioli that...
Probably the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever encountered. We were keen to support a local restaurant however with hindsight, we wish we hadn’t. After mediocre food, the woman was irate at me choosing to pay in GBP rather than Euro’s. Never had any issues anywhere else in paying in GBP. This compounded our evening, where the food and service were both poor. Best avoided.
Absolutely horrible service and food. Nothing was fresh. The waitress was arguing with one of the staff members in the kitchen. The next table behind us, the food was cold... Anyway I should of listened to my husband who didn't have a good feeling about this place... Which was empty, already a bad sign.

Great food all freshly cooked, particularly enjoyed the garlic prawns. It's incredibly friendly and relaxed although certain food items were unavailable each night. Be prepared to pay cash but there is a cash point opposite.
Una experiencia increíble y única. Eso sí, no es para todos, ya que puede resultar inquietante estar encerrado en la oscuridad total al principio. Pero luego aprendes a rendirte y a disfrutar del viaje.
Son personas muy agradables y muy buenas, especialmente la camarera que el propietario incluye son grandes. Incluso nos dieron una botella de cavas para mi compañero.
El lugar perfecto para meditar en ingravidez. Lo recomiendo. A quienes siempre les gusta el control o la estabilidad, se lo recomiendo.
