The OK Grindz team catered our wedding and did an INCREDIBLE job. Our goal was to have food that tasted great and give a large selection to all our guests, regardless of dietary needs and preferences--and to not blow our wedding budget on food while doing it. Mission accomplished. We received so many compliments from people who had attended weddings with costly caterers and hotels and said they enjoyed our food more. Ono Kine Grindz is an incredible restaurant that I first discovered in 2010 when it was newly opened. I found it through a food app that recommended Hawaiian cuisine in the area. I was surprised to find local Hawaiian food in Tosa, where I had been living for 5 years for my studies. I visited the restaurant multiple times with friends from 2010 to 2013 before moving back west. After returning to the Milwaukee area in early 2023, I rediscovered my love for Ono Kine Grindz. This was my first time trying Hawaiian food. Everyone was so friendly and patient with me. I got the short ribs, kimchi and pineapple upside down cake and some shrimp rolls. When I got home I noticed the pork rolls were in the bag instead of shrimp which was okay I can find someone to give them to. I was just a tad disappointed I didn't get to try them. The short ribs were DELICIOUS my only critique is that they were too salty. The purple sticky rice was great and helped balance the saltiness. They also could have been a tad more tender but besides that it was a really delicious meal. Oh and that pineapple upside down cake is TO DIE FOR. If you go here, which you should, get that damn cake....

First of all, the food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! The concept of being able to see how the restaurant operates is really cool. My mom, who was visiting from Tennessee, tried their coffee and also loved it. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. The store inside the restaurant is also really interesting, offering a variety of seasonings and coffee for purchase. I appreciate that they donate a percentage of their sales to Maui. We hired Ono Kine Grindz to cater our wedding and our experience from beginning to end was fantastic. The food tasting at the store was amazing, with helpful and welcoming staff. It was difficult to choose just a few dishes because everything was delicious. On the day of the wedding, the service was excellent. They arrived early to set up, assisted with the buffet, and cleaned up afterwards. Our guests also gave many compliments about the food. We highly recommend them.

Went here last Thursday with friends. As usual, the food was utterly delicious. The kalua corned beef is a particular treat, and was utterly massive! The waitstaff were the other highest point in a dinner filled with high points. They were kind, attentive, and just made the whole experience shine. I cannot say enough good of this place. It deserves so much more praise!

Wonderful food. Good portions. Decent price. Great , friendly service. The restaurant has very cool interesting merchandise and food products from Hawaii so you can make paradise at home as well. Went in hungry, came out with a happy belly. The set up is worth the visit. You can eat there or take out. So quaint. The two of us sat at the large family table next to an open window. The musubi was great ????????. *Found some great gluten-free products to make at home. Reserva una mesa ahora
